ANNIE HINES, LAc, AEMP, LMT

Specializing in Women's Health, Fertility & Integrative Care

Annie Hines is a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist with a passion for supporting women through every stage of their reproductive journey. With specialized training in women's health and over 20 years of clinical experience, Annie brings exceptional depth to the treatment of fertility challenges, pregnancy symptoms, and postpartum recovery. She works with patients navigating natural conception, IUI and IVF support, prenatal care, and the physical and emotional transitions of the postpartum period.

Her training in the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy and massage therapy informs and enriches her acupuncture practice, giving her a deeper understanding of the body's structural and energetic connections — particularly as they relate to reproductive and digestive health. Every treatment is thoughtfully tailored to the individual, drawing on her broad clinical knowledge to address the whole person rather than a single symptom.

Beyond women's health, Annie treats a broad range of general health concerns including chronic and acute pain, allergies, digestive disorders, anxiety, depression, hormonal imbalances, insomnia, and headaches. She approaches every patient — mind, body, and spirit — with the same level of care and attention regardless of the condition being treated.

Education & Training

Annie received her Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University and is licensed in the state of Washington. She is NCBAHM board certified in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. During her training she completed an externship at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, specializing in gynecology and women's health.

Annie completed her practitioner training in the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy at the Arvigo Institute in New Hampshire, where she was inspired to extend her studies directly with Dr. Rosita Arvigo. Her dedication to supporting women through pregnancy also led her to complete the Big Belly Services Doula Program in 2009, further enriching her ability to care for women during one of the most significant transitions of their lives.

Beyond the Clinic

When she is not caring for patients, Annie loves spending time with her partner Sean and their three cats, Porcini, Cricket, and Clover. She is happiest with her hands in the garden cultivating unusual blooms, immersed in a creative project like painting, or tackling a DIY renovation on their 1909 home. Whether exploring the winding roads of the Pacific Northwest or traveling abroad, Annie is always inspired by nature, new experiences, and the beauty found in everyday moments.
