Health Insurance
In Washington State, most health insurance plans cover acupuncture treatment. We participate with many local insurance plans and encourage you to contact your insurance company and complete our insurance verification form before your first visit to clearly determine the details of your acupuncture benefits.
Please remember that insurance contracts are between you and your insurance company. It is your responsibility to know the services covered and the amount due as a co-pay at our office.

Out-of-Network Insurance
If we are not contracted with your insurance company, payment is due at the time of service. We will provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. In some instances, insurance may not cover the full amount billed for services rendered due to an unmet deductible or a specific service not covered under your plan. In such cases, payment of the remaining amount is your responsibility.
Chinese Herbs & Supplements
Please note that insurance does not cover the cost of Chinese herbal medicine or supplements. Should you choose to incorporate herbs or supplements into your treatment plan, payment for these is your responsibility and is separate from your acupuncture fees.
Payment
We accept the following forms of payment at the time of service:
-
Cash
-
Check
-
Credit card
If you do not have insurance, payment is expected in full at the time of your visit.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Our time, like your own, is valuable. We require a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If this requirement is not met, you will be billed for the full amount of the appointment. This amount must be paid in full prior to scheduling any further treatment at our office.
